The illusion of reality is meant to be a magic trick. Be curious
Have you ever seen a good movie?
Or played a good video game?
When you think of your favorite movie of all time…
Don’t people usually say…
“I wish I could go back and watch it like the first time.”
When you think about that…
Isn’t that a sign of good creators?
Whether it’s the directors, actors or screenwriters.
They were so good…
They made you want to come back and forget.
The funny thing is…
There are so many people out there who can appreciate this idea.
But cannot appreciate the mystical.
Ideas like:
➥ Reincarnation
➥ Aether
➥ God
They can’t appreciate the fact that this whole thing.
Is one giant illusion.
But in the next breath…
They will hop on Netflix and scroll through a list of illusions to tap into.
They’ll easily buy into an illusion smaller than them…
➥ Book
➥ Movie
➥ Video game
But cannot surrender to an illusion bigger than them.
Innately we don’t like being deceived.
This is why our bullshit detectors start firing…
The moment we feel like someone is trying to sell us something.
Hate to break it to ya Dorothy.
You are being deceived.
But it’s not the way you think it is.
It’s not the bad kind of deception.
Which wants to take something from you.
It’s the good kind.
That wants to give you something.
It’s the gift of experiencing your life…
Like it’s the first time again.
This is why there are answers you’ll never find an answer to.
Just think about it…
When a magician is performing a magic trick.
What’s a sign of a good or bad magician?
How well they can make you believe in the illusion.
The moment you see the card slip up the sleeve… the illusion breaks and the veil disappears.
Now when it comes to life and people say…
“There’s no proof that XYZ is true”
Don’t you understand that’s the whole point?
We are living in the most sophisticated illusion there is.
Don’t you think…
The most high is a way better creator than your favorite Hollywood director, or magician?
Therefore…. this is a highly complex illusion.
Some want to call it…
A simulation.
So if this is an illusion… what is it trying to teach you?
Well many things…
But one of the most key things.
Is surrender.
Most people get stuck in the head.
They want to over analyze reality, and their life.
They want to control it or protect themselves from it.
But remember, this is a magic trick.
What happens with the magician, if you try to over analyze it?
Or if you tried to pause the trick and control the variables.
The magic is lost.
Magic = Mystery
Once you know how the trick works…
It stops being fun.
The best way to experience a magic trick.
Is to surrender yourself to it.
Remember the movie Ready Player One?
They had those scenes with the racing simulation.
And in order to win the race…
At the start… he had to put the car in reverse instead of going forward.
That’s when he found a hidden path beneath the illusion.
That simple story…
Is the paradox of life…
If you actually want to break the illusion.
You have to go the opposite direction.
Instead of the path of control, it’s about the path of surrender.
When you surrender to the illusion.
And simply enjoy the magic trick for what it is.
That’s when things will be revealed to you.
Have you noticed that the types who have mystical experiences.
Or are tapped in psychically…
Are almost never your “braniacs”.
It’s usually not the “smart” people or the skeptics.
They haven’t yet surrendered to the illusion.
And because of that.
The hidden path will never be revealed.
The irony is that your fear of deception…
Is the cause of your deception.
If you want to go back to default programming.
Watch a child.
The wonder and curiosity they have about the world.
Was never supposed to go away.
You lost your child like wonder when you started to take the world too seriously.
That’s the same time you lost your joy.
Because you wanted to break the magic trick.
You’ve heard the phrase…
“Curiosity killed the cat”
But that’s not the whole expression.
It actually goes like this…
“Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back”
Changes the whole meaning doesn’t it?
Curiosity is the key to that child like wonder.
And it always rewards you with joy on the other side.
Be not afraid.
Be curious.
